Individual works developed outside a larger series, each exploring perception, emotion, and form on its own terms.

Black-and-white photograph looking upward along a thick oak trunk with deeply furrowed bark and large twisting branches spreading through dense foliage, with patches of bright sky visible between them.

Symmetrically mirrored photograph of a weathered whale skull, its rough cracked bone forming an abstract structure around a dark circular opening at the center.

Black-and-white photograph of windblown sand flowing around scattered rocks and patches of vegetation on a beach, forming shapes that resemble a coastline or landmass seen from above.

A tiny transparent bead with a dark oval shadow sits where two pale diagonal acrylic edges converge against a softly blurred pink field.

Black-and-white photograph of a broadleaf maple leaf resting on still water, with a dark reflection extending beneath it and a large field of smooth, uninterrupted water surrounding the leaf.

Photograph of a winding path moving through a field of tall weathered wooden poles beneath dramatic storm clouds, with a small solitary figure walking uphill in the distance.

Abstract monochrome photograph divided diagonally between a finely textured light surface and a large featureless black area, with a narrow dark edge and faint material detail visible along the lower border.

Black-and-white abstract photograph of the back of a conference-room chair, with repeated curved bands and bright textured openings converging toward the lower right.

Nighttime coastal photograph of a weathered branch standing upright in sand and reaching toward the sky, with a rocky cove, smooth long-exposure water, star trails, and a small empty viewing platform in the distance.

Singular Works — Artist Statement

Singular Works is a curated collection of autonomous photographs and selected works from earlier bodies of work. Each image stands independently, chosen for a formal or conceptual concern that remains meaningful beyond its original context. Together, the photographs reveal recurring interests in perception, ambiguity, light, surface, scale, form, and the transformation of ordinary encounters.
