Headshots Can Be Simple,
Consistent, and Stress-Free.
Here’s Proof.
Corporate Headshot Case Studies
For Teams in Santa Clara & San Mateo Counties
Managing headshots means juggling schedules, expectations, and the image of your brand on top of everything else you're working on.
It’s a lot to balance — and it can feel overwhelming.
I built a system that keeps headshots consistent, stress-free, and trusted by everyone involved.
The stories below show how that system came to life — from inception to a proven process you can rely on.
Jump to Brand-Matched HeadshotsHow One Project Sparked a Seamless System
The system I use today wasn’t born in a strategy meeting—it started with a conversation. A real client, in a real moment, who needed more than headshots—she needed someone to understand the load she was carrying.
Problem, Challenge, and Solution
Problem:
Parisa, a design director leading a full company rebrand, was managing a product launch, a new website, and an off-site event—all at once.
When she reached out, I listened. Not just to her project needs, but to the pressure behind them—the moving parts, the tight deadlines, and the expectations she was balancing.
Challenge:
Parisa didn’t need another vendor—she needed a process that respected her time, reduced confusion,
and delivered results her team could be proud of.
I pulled together a few tools to make it work. It wasn’t elegant, but it did the job and revealed something important—she wasn’t the only one carrying that kind of pressure.
Many of my clients face the same quiet expectations to make everything seamless. They trust me to handle the details so they can focus on what matters most.
It was clear this challenge went beyond one project—and it was time to create a better way forward.
Solution:
That insight became the foundation of something bigger.
I built an in-house system for scheduling, proofing, and delivery—clear, intuitive, and designed around how my clients actually work.
Every improvement since that project has come from listening to clients like her—and building solutions that make their workday easier.
Group Scheduling
Challenge
At Availas Medical in Menlo Park, Parisa—the Design Director—was asked to coordinate refined headshots for 40 team members and 15 executives during a fast-moving offsite. Leadership expected a smooth experience with on-site beauty services.
Parisa needed a plan that could organize people, protect the schedule, and keep the day moving without added noise.
Problem
The agenda was packed—meetings, demos, hallway conversations—and any delay could cascade. Without a clear system, headshots risked becoming a bottleneck, creating stress for organizers and interruptions for leadership.
Solution
We built a three-track schedule: styled executives, non-styled executives, and general staff. Two on-site beauty pros supported the flow. Sessions started on time, people moved confidently from one step to the next, and no one felt rushed. The day stayed on track, leadership stayed engaged, and the shoot finished on schedule.
That framework now powers my group-scheduling model for teams that value clarity, consistency, and a process that respects everyone’s time.

Start Your Team’s PlanProofing Without Friction
Challenge
After an offsite with 55 people, Parisa needed a simple way for executives and staff to pick images—no delays, no lost links, no passwords.
Problem
Third-party tools served photographers, not teams. Logins and cluttered galleries slowed approvals and created extra work—risking missed deadlines.
Solution
I built a password-free, branded proofing portal designed around how real teams work.
One shared link for the entire team. Fast approvals and less work for you.
Proven with companies across the Bay Area, from San Jose to Menlo Park to South San Francisco.

Headshot Delivery
Challenge
At SiFive in Santa Clara, Dave—the Marketing Director—needed headshots for a 13-person executive team without adding to his already packed schedule. Leadership was moving fast, and every detail had to support growth without slowing momentum.
Problem
When headshots were needed for decks or media kits, they weren’t always easy to find. Links expired, files disappeared, and every urgent request bounced back to Dave—pulling him from higher priorities. Small inefficiencies added up to stress, wasted time, and missed opportunities.
Solution
I built a client-first delivery system that kept everything organized and easy to access. One shared link gave executives instant downloads—no passwords, no confusion. Full-resolution files were neatly organized for marketing, so Dave could stay focused on the brand instead of file requests.
Today, Santa Clara teams like SiFive use this system to save time, reduce stress, and stay ready for every opportunity.
This is what it looks like when headshots stop causing headaches.

Onboarding Headshots
Challenge
At Jasper Therapeutics in Redwood City, Theresa—the Operations Manager—needed a way to onboard new hires with consistent, professional headshots without adding more to her workload.
Problem
Without a visual standard, headshot styles drifted. Delivery slowed, consistency slipped, and Theresa spent time managing details instead of leading operations—putting brand alignment and team trust at risk.
Solution
I’d already built a studio and service system for this exact need—fast, consistent sessions that align with company standards. Working with Theresa, we defined Jasper’s headshot style, ensuring every new hire is photographed quickly and integrated seamlessly into the company’s brand image without extra oversight.

Preproduction
Challenge
Akrati, leading Zanbato’s website redevelopment in Mountain View, needed new executive headshots taken in their office. She wanted the plaques on the conference room wall to appear in the background—symbolic of the company’s achievements.
Problem
The chosen wall was reflective, the room dominated by a large table, and natural light was limited. Without planning, this setup would have slowed production and led to uneven, distracting results.
Solution
Before shoot day, I toured the space to anticipate challenges and align the on-site team. We cleared floor space, repositioned the table, and chose an angle that showcased the plaques while preserving depth and control. Supplemental lighting balanced reflections and brought clarity to every frame.
What began as a 12-person session expanded to a full-day shoot once the team saw the results. The preparation paid off—smooth flow, zero surprises, and complete buy-in.
Preproduction isn’t extra—it’s the reason everything runs on time. It eliminates guesswork, builds trust, and turns headshot day into a success.

Brand-Matched Headshots
Challenge
At Venrock in Palo Alto, Tessa needed headshots that honored the firm’s legacy while presenting a new generation of leadership—clean, credible, and on brand.
Problem
Past sessions varied in tone and composition. Without a standard, images drifted off brand—and busy executives needed a consistent, convenient process.
Solution
I mapped Venrock’s visual language and built a repeatable system. Sessions run at my Palo Alto studio for uniform lighting and polish, with room for subtle individuality. New hires are photographed on a rolling basis, keeping the gallery current and consistently on brand.
